After you have submitted your request on the 'Book Appointment' page, you will be contacted by JLP within 24-48 hours, at which time you will confirm the date of your photo session after submitting your deposit. You and your photographer will work together to schedule a day within the first two weeks after your new bundle of joy has arrived! Your photo session will likely be scheduled in the early afternoon for the purpose of capturing the best lighting!
Each client will be given access to their very own online photo gallery, that is accessible through the website under Connect < Client Gallery. There you will be able to access your touched album photos. You will be given a passcode for you and your loved ones to access the gallery, as well as download the photos. This passcode will expire after one year. After your photographer has sorted out the red-eye and blurry images, you will have access to all of the edited, high resolution photos at no additional cost. If you would like to order prints of your photos, you can do so through the client gallery. Prints are ordered and processed through a professional third party company and not by J.L.P.
During your session your photographer will take what likely seems like hundreds of photos. Truth is, many of these shots suffer from blurriness, blinking, red-eye and other expected nuances caused by involuntary human responses. After a three hour session, J.L.P will deliver to you approximately 20 - 40 digital photos.
We understand that sometimes life happens and plans change unexpectedly. If you're in a position where you think you'll have to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment, we request that you give at least 48 hours notice. Please note, if you cancel, the $45 deposit is non refundable, as other potential appointments may have been affected by your initial reservation.
